Designed for students aged approximately 11 to 16, the IB Middle Years Programme emphasizes conceptual understanding, inquiry, and interdisciplinary learning. Students engage with real-world contexts while developing approaches to learning skills such as research, communication, collaboration, and self-management. Assessment focuses on understanding and application rather than memorization, supporting steady academic growth and learner agency across subjects.

Intended for students aged approximately 16 to 19, the AP Capstone Diploma Program is a two-year sequence focused on research, analysis, collaboration, and academic writing. Students develop independent inquiry skills through sustained research projects and evidence-based argumentation. The program supports preparation for university study by strengthening academic writing, presentation, and critical evaluation skills across disciplines.

Kang Chiao International School is a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS), an organization that supports collaboration, leadership development, and professional learning among international schools in East Asia.
